162kg textiles from being sent to landfill.
SAVE
587kg greenhouse gases from polluting our atmosphere.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once Upparel receives your box of textiles the items go through a sorting process which is broken down into three categories.
RE-USE
All items that are in wearable condition are passed onto charitable organisations to ensure they are available for those who need them most.
RE-PURPOSE
Items that are identified as being able to be repurposed or upcycled, are donated to key Australian brands that turn old worn jeans into brand new pieces of clothing.
RE-CYCLE
Any items that can't be re-used or re-purposed are sorted by type of material and colour and then shredded and spun with new fibres for mattresses, pet beds, home insulation... the list goes on.
